Thank you for this wonderful game! I practiced all week and now I can finally finish the game on normal difficulty.

I made a video as well:

High Score: 28190

My next goal is to finish the game on hard difficulty :)

you can check video if you want to see how it plays..

It's been a while since I played this now but I remember it very fondly, one of the best games I've played on the C64!

Hey, I hope you don't mind, but I placed Pig Quest into the the best C64 homebrew games ever made.

Revisiting this game now, it's simply a piece of art. Even better the 2nd time around :)

Hello, first congrats for all the effort put into this C64 game to all the team. I bought a version of it, and I know I should have been more cautious and checked if it functions with the ROM C64 vice emulator on my Miyoo Mini+, which works a marvel with the last version of Onion OS.  It took a while to load... got a bit scared when I ended with the blue frozen screen. Yet it worked in the end after waiting a few minutes. Thanks again and much respect!

I wouldn't mind buying this one but it's priced solely in EUR.  I use a prepaid debit card denominated in USD and no non-USD transactions are approved in these prepaid cards.  I know this sounds like a you-not-us type of problem but I see other Protovision products with USD payment accepted.

any chance of activating a USD payment option on itch.io for digital download of Pig's Quest?

Hi guys! I just wanna play pigquest on my laptop. Can someone please explain in simple terms what I need except buying and downloading the game?

Thanks

You need vice emulator

It's the best way to enjoy  a c64 game

or , if you want a "console" like experience you can use retroarch

I prefer modern Denise emulator.... you can play G-Synced games smoother as it was in the good old days on 50Hz PAL / 60Hz NTSC TVs...

nice name for an Emulator.

A g-sync for a c64 game sounds overkill.

G-Sync = will sync frames to video with GPU rendered frames = 50/60Hz will look butter smooth, as well as 54.70Hz for a MAME game... To achieve the same without G-Sync/Freesync you should have a video mode for EVERY single exact res (50, 49.97, 54.70Hz etc...). It is a tech incredibly useful for old emulator and their strange refresh rates.

I know what it is.
