Petal Panic
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
A Commodore 64 Adventure The world has gotten weird, and only one gardener is equipped to clean it up. Play as Petal Pete in a stunning new C64 platformer that mixes tight arcade action with frantic flora-growing mechanics. Navigate through multi-stage worlds, outsmart bizarre enemies, and face off against screen-filling bosses by planting seeds, sprouting platforms, and fighting back with the power of nature. Remember the golden rule: Plant fast! Fight weird!
Petal Panic is currently under development. A playable preview containing three worlds is presented here as a free download.
Version 1.01 adds support for the EeasyFlash cartridge.
Note: The preferred and recommended way to play Petal Panic is the EasyFlash cartridge (.crt) version, which features instant loading and additional transitions and effects. The disk version (.d64) is provided only for this preview release; future full releases of the game will be cartridge-only.

Very nice game, I already hate the first boss, maybe a invulnerability time after respawns is a good idea.
Also the possibility to change the bonus letters maybe hitting them.
You are invulnerable after respawning!

What a wonderful and charming game! Those snails keep getting me. :-)
Also, on the 3rd screen controls stopped working after I fell into a pit and had to reset the game.
Look forward to seeing and playing more.
You have to attack them from the back. Otherwise keep your distance!

Great game, but on my Kung-fu flash it doesn't work. Does exist a prg version or a d64 working version?
There's now an easyflash version that should work on the KungFu version.

You need a real SID to play the speech correctly, or a good emulator ;-)
